The Suns have signed 32-year old shooting guard Michael Redd to a 1-year deal. Redd played in only 10 games (0 starts) for the Bucks last year and he averaged 13.4 minutes, 4.4 points, 0.8 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game. He has now played in 578 games (427 starts) in his NBA career so far and he is averaging 33.5 minutes, 20.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.0 steal per game. The Suns have not played well offensively so far this year, so they hope that Michael Redd has something left in the gas tank.

The Suns only shot 39.5% from the floor as they just couldn’t get the offense going last night, and it cost them this game. Robin Lopez led the way for the Suns in this game with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 1 assist. Steve Nash pitched in with 14 points and 12 assists last night as he was trying to make things happen for the Suns’ offense. Marcin Gortat finished up with 12 points, 5 rebounds and 1 steal in his first game playing with a broken thumb. The Suns are now 0-1 on the year.
