Blogged under General, Comings & Goings, Bloglockers, Big Suns News, Front Page by alleyoop on Friday 2 July 2010 at 11:17 am

The Suns have signed 27-year old forward Hakim Warrick to a 4-year, $18 million dollar deal. Warrick played in 76 games (6 starts) last season for the Bulls & Bucks in which he averaged 20.5 minutes, 9.6 points, 4.1 rebounds and 0.7 assists per game. He has now played in 383 games (89 starts) in his five years in the NBA and he has averaged 21.5 minutes, 10.1 points, 4.3 rebounds and 0.7 assists per game. Warrick could wind up getting a ton of playing time for the Suns if Amare Stoudemire is indeed gone which is what it’s starting to look like.

UPDATE: (7/9/2010) - This wound up being a sign and trade deal with the Bulls. The Bulls will get a 2011 second round pick from the Suns for Warrick.
