San Antonio Spurs 111, Phoenix Suns 106

The Suns just couldn’t deal with Tony Parker and Tim Duncan who unloaded on them for 65 points between them.  When you combine that with the fact that the Spurs shot 50% from the floor and outrebounded the Suns 49-35…that is a recipe for disaster.  Steve Nash led the way for the Suns with 31 points, 3 rebounds and 8 assists.  He had to sit out the end of the game after colliding with Tony Parker and busting his nose open.  Amare Stoudemire only shot 6 for 19 from the floor but he still wound up with 20 points, 18 rebounds and 5 blocked shots.  Leandro Barbosa had a decent game off of the bench with 18 points and 3 assists.  Shawn Marion had problems with Tim Duncan who schooled him.  Marion still scored 16 points and grabbed 6 rebounds.  Raja Bell was busy with 10 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals.  The Suns are now down 1-0 to the Spurs in this series.
