Los Angeles Lakers 95, Phoenix Suns 89

Blogged under The NBA Playoffs, Bloglockers, Game recaps, Front Page by alleyoop on Friday 27 April 2007 at 11:29 am

The Lakers slowed the game down in the second half when they outscored the Suns 47-38 on their way to a win in Game #3.  The Lakers did this by outrebounding the Suns 44-35 and that allowed them to short circuit the Suns offense.  Amare Stoudemire led the way for the Suns with 24 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists.  Leandro Barbosa was outstanding off of the bench with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists and he hit 5 3-pointers.  Shawn Marion had an off night shooting the ball (4 of 12) and that’s why he only wound up with 10 points and 4 rebounds.  Steve Nash had a rough game for him with 10 points, 4 rebounds and 13 assists.  The Suns still lead the series 2-1.  http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=270426013
